Labels Blogfest Picture Galore: Designer Dress Up Part 1

There has been a massive social media buzz surrounding the Blogfest - I find that very exciting as I believe that digital is the only way forward and this buzz only confirms that. Kudos to Zahir Rahimtoola for being such a visionary and appreciating and actively participating within the digital space.

We had a great time getting styled by the designers, they were all so full of life and enthusiastic about the event. What I liked most was how supportive they were of each others talents. Sanam Chaudhri mentioned to the Secret Closet girls that "clothes are made for real people, not just the models." The pictures below show how gorgeous these clothes look on real people as well as on models.

Sneak Preview: Labels Blogfest - Designer Dress Up

To allll the lovers of fashion out there,

I come bearing exclusive pictures from the Labels Blogfest event - which was a TON of fun. A big thank you to all the designers and bloggers that came and to Zahir and Sherezad for hosting such a fabulous event.

For the very first time in Pakistan, there was an interactive event for both bloggers and designers held at Labels. 7 top Pakistani designers attended today's event, together with the Karachi based bloggers. The designers (and bloggers) went through the racks at Labels and picked out outfits for each of the bloggers. The bloggers tried on outfits by each of the 7 designers. For the first time after Fashion Pakistan Week 4, all of the designers were under one roof!! It was great fun interacting with all the designers and getting styled by them!

With Labels going online, many e-shoppers prefer to see how clothes look on actual people as opposed to what people think are photoshopped images of models - This is exactly what's being shown; how real people rock the designers clothes!! Of course, the outfits paired with Sherezad's breath taking jewelry only completed the look.

The designers included; Sania Maskatiya, Ayesha Hashwani, Sanam Chaudhri, Nida Azwer, Wardha Saleem, Feeha Jamshed and Maheen Karim.

Bloggers included: Amara (Pink2.55) and myself. Also Sana Khalifzai, Sana AK and Aisha Gul who are not fashion bloggers but they tried on some looks as well.
